In this role, youll design and deploy machine learning, statistical, and AI-driven solutions, working across the full data lifecycle from data exploration and modelling to deployment and insight delivery. Youll play a key role in shaping innovative analytics initiatives, contributing to new projects, and building future-focused capabilities using modern platforms such as AWS and SAS Viya. This role suits someone who blends strong technical capability with commercial awareness and a passion for real-world problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end data workflows: extraction, cleansing, preparation, analysis, and modelling Design and deliver impactful dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights Build, test, and deploy statistical and machine learning models using SAS, Python, and SQL Develop innovative AI-driven solutions for complex business challenges Translate ambiguous business problems into clear, structured analytical approaches Work within AWS and SAS Viya environments for scalable development and deployment Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand needs before designing solutions Present insights, recommendations, and model outputs in a clear, business-focused manner Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
Degree in a quantitative field such as Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related discipline Strong theoretical foundation in statistical modelling Experience:
Strong experience in data preparation, wrangling, and exploratory data analysis Hands-on experience using SAS, Python, and SQL in production environments Proven experience building machine learning and/or statistical models Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. SAS Visual Analytics or similar platforms) Skills & Attributes:
