The organisation works across 14 biodiversity landscapes and seascapes to protect ecosystems while supporting the communities who steward them. The ideal candidate is a digitally savvy, results-driven fundraiser with a strong donor-first mindset and a passion for conservation and social impact.Core Criteria:
- Minimum 3+ years experience in digital fundraising, preferably within the non-profit sector
- Proven success in delivering data-driven digital fundraising campaigns across multiple platforms
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, fundraising platforms, analytics, and CRM systems
- In-depth knowledge of Google and Meta advertising policies and campaign optimisation
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skillsCore Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital fundraising strategy aligned with organisational goals
- Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel digital fundraising campaigns across email, social media, websites, and online platforms
- Translate conservation and community impact into compelling digital content and donor journeys
- Use data insights to segment, target, and nurture donors, improving engagement and retention
- Monitor campaign performance, report on KPIs, and refine strategies to maximise fundraising outcomes
- Build partnerships with digital platforms, influencers, and external partners to expand reach
- Manage digital fundraising budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and strong return on investment
- Collaborate closely with communications, programmes, partnerships, and finance teams
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies related to funding, data protection, and confidentialityWork Environment:
- Sandton office-based role, with extended hours
- Extensive travel within South Africa, regionally and internationally, including remote locations and potential uncomfortable working conditionsThis is a live-out role.
