Experience:Matric (Grade 12) Tertiary or technical qualification (advantageous) 24 years experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment Mechanical, electrical or Millwright Trade advantageous Actively support planned maintenance window process Previous experience in a leadership role (e.g. Shift Leader, Line Leader, Senior Operator) Oversee material and product inventory, as well as waste streams during the shift, ensuring accurate tracking of usage and losses. Proven ability to meet production targets, quality standards, and deadlines Experience working in high-volume production and shift-based environments Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Syspro, Acumatica, SAP, or other ERP systems
Key Responsibilities:
Support and drive the SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) pillar implementation Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Lead and supervise the packaging team during daily shift operations Manage shift teams to achieve production plans within cost and efficiency targets Perform routine shift and employee administration Coach and develop team members, engaging Pillar Champions and subject-matter experts to drive Manufacturing Excellence (ME) initiatives within the shift
