Minimum requirements:BCom or BSc Property Development essential 13 years relevant work experience Exposure to the property sector will be advantageous Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management
Supervise the property accounting function Review monthly property income statements Monitor debtors and recommend actions on arrear tenants Review recovery reports, cash flow reports, and balance sheet controls Oversee reconciliations, accruals, capital WIP, debtors, statutory controls, and subsidiary investment accounts Ensure time-critical payments are processed within deadlines Ensure municipal accounts are paid timeously and services remain uninterrupted Prepare, review, and distribute monthly Board reporting packs Implement and track Board decisions Manage annual financial statements and audit processes Ensure submission of Income Tax and VAT returns within statutory timelines Property Management
Manage the overall property portfolio Manage the overall property portfolio Conduct site visits and review property inspections Oversee repairs, maintenance, and compliance requirements Manage tenant relationships and debtor collection interventions Draft and manage lease amendments Plan, execute, and report on Capex projects Resolve municipal billing issues and review metering and recoveries Liaise with brokers and coordinate property viewings Take accountability for individual property performance
