Credit Risk Management
Control opening of new customer accounts Assess creditworthiness of new applications Recommend and implement credit limits Review and apply credit policies Conduct periodic credit reviews Monitor account statuses continuouslyCredit Control Operations
Authorise journal entries submitted by credit controllers Review account reconciliations regularly Enforce supply restrictions for overdue accounts Visit key/problematic accounts to resolve issues Liaise with customers and regional teams to collect overdue payments Accompany sales reps and managers on client visitsCollections & Legal
Manage handovers to legal for collections Handle legal correspondence for liquidations and bad debts Work to minimise bad debt exposure Submit bad debt provision and year-end write-off list to Financial DirectorWhat we are looking for:
Proven experience in credit management Strong understanding of credit risk principles and collection processes Ability to manage legal processes relating to bad debt Excellent communication and negotiation skills Attention to detail and ability to enforce policy Experience leading and developing credit control teamsUnique aspects & benefits:
