Description:
A passionate and experienced High School Teacher is required to teach Information Technology (IT). The role requires a proven track record of teaching excellence, experience with the IEB or CAPS curriculum, and a commitment to creating a supportive yet challenging learning environment for students.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
Degree and PGCE or B.Education (specialised degree if teaching into a specialist subject) SACE certification and police clearance 5 years experience teaching the IEB curriculum at high school level (Grades 8-12) 5 years specialist subject teaching ( Information Technology) Computer literacy and the ability to integrate IT suitably in teaching/learningKey Performance Areas:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons following IEB curriculum and educational standards Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback and support Develop and implement lesson plans that adhere to the IEB guidelines and objectives Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians about academic performance and areas for improvement Participate in school events, meetings, and committees as required Contribute to the school's culture of excellence, respect, and mutual support
