Description:
To provide both Esports coaching and IT technical support within a private school environment. The role combines competitive gaming leadership with day-to-day IT operational support to ensure effective learning delivery and technical functionality across the school.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
Grade 12 / Matric CompTIA A+, N+ or equivalent certification 1–3 years of hands-on IT support or hardware and software troubleshooting Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Proven experience coaching or competing at a high level in Counter-Strike, Valorant, and/or Fortnite Own reliable transportKey Performance Areas:
Lead, coach, and mentor students in Esports, developing team strategy and sportsmanship Manage Esports practices, competitions, and gaming activities across multiple titles Provide daily IT support and troubleshooting for staff, students, and school devices Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals Support users with Microsoft Office applications and related systems Assist with school operations such as supervision duties, exam invigilation, and substitution teaching when required Promote a disciplined, inclusive, and positive environment that balances academic and gaming excellence
