Description:

Operational ManagementOversee all lodge operations including F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Services.Ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional service delivery.Act as Manager on Duty when required.Implement and monitor lodge policies, procedures, and operational standards.Financial & Administrative ManagementPrepare, manage, and monitor departmental budgets.Control costs, monitor revenue, and achieve financial targets.Compile and submit accurate operational and financial reports.Oversee stock control, procurement, and inventory management.Assist with capital expenditure projects and resource planning.Staff Leadership & DevelopmentRecruit, train, mentor, and manage lodge staff.Conduct performance appraisals and implement development plans.Foster a positive, professional, and guest-focused culture.Manage disciplinary procedures when required.Guest Relations & Service ExcellenceEnsure high levels of guest satisfaction.Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.Maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and stakeholders.Compliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and health & safety standards.Oversee fire, security, and emergency procedures.Maintain lodge assets, equipment, and facilities to company standards.SYSTEM REQUIREMENTSProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Hospitality PMS knowledge (Opera, Symphony, or similar)Familiarity with financial reporting systems MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Lodge Manager or Senior Hospitality Manager
  • Proven leadership and operational management skills
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, and reporting skills
  • Matric (minimum requirement); relevant hospitality qualifications advantageous
  • Valid South African ID
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Proven leadership and operational management skills
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, and reporting skills
  • Matric (minimum requirement); relevant hospitality qualifications advantageous

  • Valid driver’s license
