Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager to oversee the full operation of a luxury lodge environment. The successful candidate will be a strong all-rounder with a passion for guest experience, proven leadership ability, and solid business and administrative skills.This role requires a hands-on professional who thrives in a people-focused environment while maintaining excellent operational control and financial awareness.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Service ExcellenceEnsure exceptional guest satisfaction at all timesMaintain high standards of service delivery and presentationEngage personally with guests to create memorable experiencesOperations ManagementOversee daily lodge operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage and guiding teamsEnsure all departments function efficiently and in alignment with company standardsImplement and monitor operational procedures and service standardsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, motivate and manage lodge staffConduct staff training, performance management and disciplinary processesFoster a positive and professional working environmentAdministration & Financial ControlHandle all lodge administration and reportingManage budgets, stock control, procurement and cost managementOversee payroll inputs, rosters and staff recordsEnsure compliance with company policies and legal requirementsBusiness & Strategic SupportSupport senior management in business planning and developmentIdentify opportunities for operational improvement and cost efficiencyEnsure sustainability of business operations Minimum Requirements- Previous senior management experience in a lodge or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills
- Excellent administrative and organizational abilities
- Solid financial understanding, budgeting and reporting experience
- Hands-on operational experience across multiple lodge departments
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Professional, presentable and guest-focused
- Proactive, self-motivated and reliable
- Strong work ethic with a positive leadership style
- Passionate about hospitality and service excellence
- Live-in position with private accommodation provided
