Admin and Investment Assistant

Brilliance BlueStar is authorised by Sanlam to provide advice on retirement planning, investments and individual insurance. We work in the professional market and a very high standard of work and client service is maintained throughout the business.

We seek a reliable, detail-oriented and well-organised Admin and Investment Assistant to perform the day-to-day tasks in our back-office and assist the Advisors and Business Manager.

Key duties include, but are not limited to

  • General Reception duties
  • Arrange appointments
  • Maintain client records
  • Accurate capturing of client data
  • Maintain online client records
  • Assist with handling a wide range of client queries, requests, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, service requests, and documentation.
  • Liaise with advisors and colleagues to ensure services are delivered as scheduled.
  • Assist with FICA-related tasks
  • Support month-end work
  • Handle new applications and quotes
  • New business implementation
  • Policy and investment summaries
  • General tax calculations and admin
  • Assist with investment projections and retirement planning

    · Preparation of reports, agendas, presentations and spreadsheets for meetings.

    · Monitor and manage office equipment and facilities to ensure optimal working conditions


    Minimum requirements

    • Matric certificate, with maths, economics or accounting as subjects
    • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans & English (written and spoken)

      · Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in office administration, client support, or a similar professional administrative role. Preference will be given to candidates with banking, investments, life insurance or employee benefits experience.

    • Competent in MS Office
  • Ability to work full-time from the Sanlam Bellville office
