Description:
A fast-growing South African payments and fintech business is seeking a Performance Marketing Specialist to join its Marketing team. This role plays a critical part in driving lead generation, customer acquisition, and measurable business growth through data-led digital campaigns.
The successful candidate will plan, execute, and optimise paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google, Meta, and emerging digital channels. This is a highly analytical yet creative role, combining campaign strategy, content insight, and deep performance tracking to maximise ROI. You will work closely with design, product, and BI teams to ensure campaigns are relevant, measurable, and aligned with commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and optimise digital campaigns
Set up and manage paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other relevant platforms.
Align campaigns to objectives such as lead generation, customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
Run A/B tests across ads and landing pages to continuously improve performance.
Optimise campaigns based on performance data, audience behaviour, and market insights.
Analyse performance and drive continuous improvement
Monitor key metrics including CTR, CPA, conversion rates, ROAS, and CAC.
Produce regular performance reports and dashboards for internal teams and senior stakeholders.
Translate data insights into clear, actionable optimisation recommendations.
Collaborate on creative and content execution
Brief and collaborate with designers on platform-specific creative and messaging.
Provide input on copy, positioning, offers, and audience segmentation.
