- Engineering / Technical studies & experience beneficial
- Establish , develop and maintain customer relations with current and new customers.
- Generate Quotations and pricing on enquiries received and submit to clients ASAP. The Time spend on a quotation is dependent on the Enquiry.
- Capture all quotations by way of MRP System. This applies to all pricing supplied telephonically as well.
- On receipt of an order from a Client review the order prior to processing the order and ensure the quotation / information supplied for quotation purposes match the order specifications Process the order on the MRP System and ensure the delivery date quoted will be met by all concerned.
- Don't supply unrealistic Delivery dates.
- Ensure Processed Job cards and all relevant information and documentation received from the Client is attached to the Job Card and issued to the next relevant department for further processing.
- Follow up on un-successful Quotations supplied and log the outcome in the register ASAP .
- On request from a Client, follow up on work in progress and give feed back on processed order / orders. If for reasons beyond our control the order will be delivered / completed late, contact the client and explain why and adjust the delivery date accordingly Generate Purchase Requisitions for any materials / bought out items as required and forward to the purchasing department to process Conform to the ISO / NSSC QMS requirements as documented and listed in the Authorities Matrix Ensure COD accounts are paid before putting the job in the system , unless it is a customer that you have dealt with regular and is trust worthy .
- On large amounts 50% upfront and 50% on release or otherwise arranged and approved. Identifying business opportunity's by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry through market activities and competitors.
- Ensure to meet or exceed performance goals/targets coherent with company policies. Involve yourself in any area that may benefit the team and the customers.
- Responds to inquiries and complaints, with specific regards to customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all filing is done as required by the ISO procedures
