The Business Development Consultant will support business growth by generating new leads, booking meetings, and assisting senior consultants with client acquisition. This role is ideal for someone eager to build a career in sales and business development, with clear exposure to the recruitment industry.
Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Generation
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, and referrals. Book meetings and introductory calls for senior consultants or sales managers. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.Client Support
Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and client presentations. Maintain accurate client and sales activity records on the CRM system. Support follow ups with prospective and existing clients.Market & Industry Awareness
Research target companies, industries, and decision makers. Stay informed on recruitment trends and client hiring needs. Provide basic market feedback to senior team members.Performance & Reporting
Work towards daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets. Track calls, emails, meetings, and outcomes accurately. Participate in sales reviews, coaching, and training sessions.
Qualifications & Experience
Matric / Grade 12 (required). Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, Marketing, or related field 2 3 years sales experience. Exposure to B2B sales or recruitment is an advantage
