JOB SUMMARY AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Service Administrator will be responsible for administratively supporting the department’s Technicians, the Controller and the Quality & Service Manager. This function includes but is not limited to:

Attend to internal calls and customer walk-ins on a day-to-day basis. Attend to and escalate client queries to the relevant personnel. Assist the Service & Technical team by attending to administrative tasks relating to current projects in the pipeline. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports. Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet the Employer’s standards. Assist with the planning and execution of Service & Technical procurement requirements and deliveries. Provide support to the procurement, projects and warehouse departments as and when required. Maintain product and technical knowledge. Support with updating, controlling and reporting on SCR (Service Call Request) register and administration. Responsible for assisting with the Tech schedule and ensuring Technicians are allocated to the correct jobs. Assist with travel and accommodation bookings for department staff and teams as required and also verify expenses and costs. Attending to any other related tasks on an ad hoc

LOCATION

Johannesburg offices, in Pomona and any such other locations or destinations as determined by the Employer from time to time.

The position requires an ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment, communicate information clearly, and keep a constant focus on the work with a sense on importance and urgency.

Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management. Strong client-facing and teamwork skills. Critical thinking and problem solving. Conflict resolution, decision-making and leadership capabilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

REQUIRED PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Attention to detail. Ability to prioritise. Sense of urgency and time management. Self-driven and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to manage more than one task at any given time. Organised and systematic.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Matric Certificate and/or any other relevant business administration qualification. Valid driver’s license. Advanced computer working skills in word, excel and MS Office. Business administration experience is required.

SALARY

Basic between R 10 000 and R 15 000

Plus Medical Aid and Pension
