Description:
As the Financial Accountant, your duties include the following:
Take ownership of drafting and finalizing key financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow summaries
Maintain the integrity of financial data through accurate system entries
Manage the chart of accounts and ledger systems effectively
Drive the successful execution of month-end and year-end reporting cycles
Ensure deadlines are met with precision
Deliver meaningful insights through financial performance reviews
Perform various investigations and account reconciliations
Monitor and approve core finance functions such as supplier payments, debtor collections and payroll processing
Uphold strict compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks including IFRS and applicable exchange listing rules
Skills & Experience:
2 years of post-article experience as a Financial Accountant
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS and financial regulations
Proficiency in financial software systems
Qualification:
Registered CA(SA)
