Description:
- Ensure compliance with the Komatsu branch Manual at all levels in the business
- Participates in operations strategic plan development with divisional team and Operations Executive
- Conducts resource planning for the branch.
- Assesses the impact of risk-mitigating plans and preventative action strategies and recommends alternatives to Operations leadership.
- Interacting with the HR Executive & Senior Operations Manager on resource planning
- Communicating overall branch strategy, plans, and objectives and providing channels for communication.
- Collaborating with HR in disciplinary cases
- Plans and prepares for the annual budgeting process of the branch following the relevant financial policies and procedures.
- Liaising with customers concerning technical issue resolution & referring complex issues to Branch manager or internal product support function.
- Check regularly that the warehouse is tidy and clean and that items are binned, packed and labeled as per policy & procedures.
- Assisting and approving the Offer to Purchase documentation and submitting it to the customer.
- Drive and implement reliability improvements plans that will result in expected equipment performance
- Contributes to technical planning and ensures quality of machine inspections.
- Monitors customer satisfaction, quality, and safety compliance.
- Approves parts, equipment orders, and oversee parts/consumables planning.,
- Oversees warehouse operations and stock controls, including write‑offs and replenishment
- Co-ordinates staff training, skills development, and technical de‑briefings.
- Produces technical and service reports, including operational and performance metrics
- Manages vehicle fleet usage, costs, and compliance.
- Handles warranty claims, audits, data accuracy systems, and asset register control.
- Supports financial reporting, resolves financial queries, and assists with debtors.
- Builds customer relationships, supports sales processes, and identifies market opportunities.

- Business experience regarding customer liaison, service level/contractual agreements, decision-making and problem resolution preferably in mining/construction

QUALIFICATIONS:
Trade/Technical qualification, with N4, and studying towards a Business-related diploma
EXPERIENCE:
- 7 years’ experience of which 3 years’ experience as a manager, managing technical staff,
- Business experience regarding customer liaison, service level/contractual agreements, decision-making and problem resolution preferably in mining/construction
- Financial management about profitability and cost control, inventory management, and reporting.
