There is an ongoing job scam currently circulating on Gumtree.
The scammers have now changed their Gmail address and are using the following contact number:
+27 82 364 9036
And an email address using Gmail - they have recently changed the email adroit since I reported the older one please be aware any job with Gmail might be them
They are posting fake job advertisements and asking for upfront payments (for things like certificates or background checks). Once payment is made, they disappear.
DO NOT send any money for a job application.
Legitimate employers do NOT charge fees.
If you see job ads connected to this number, please report them immediately.
Stay alert and protect yourself.
