Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent 35 years sales experience in Courier, Logistics & Supply Chain Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business (advantageous) Proven new business development skills lead generation & deal closing Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities Track record of achieving monthly new business targets Valid drivers license & own reliable transportKey Responsibilities
New Business Sales: Exceed monthly targets by selling services across South Africa; identify niche markets and suggest new product opportunities. Prospecting & Lead Generation: Research potential clients in industries such as e-commerce, healthcare, and manufacturing; leverage cold calling, networking, and industry events. Sales & Business Development: Conduct needs analysis, tailor proposals, present solutions (domestic, international, express, deferred, e-commerce), and negotiate contracts in line with company policies. Relationship Management: Build long-term partnerships, ensure smooth onboarding, and collaborate with operations and customer service teams for seamless delivery. Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare weekly/monthly sales reports, and forecast pipeline activity. ??
