Description:
Role Purpose: To supervise, monitor, and verify all food handling, storage, preparation, and service processes to ensure they adhere to Halaal principles and the company's Halaal Assurance System (HAS).
Candidate Requirements
- Faith: Must be a practicing Muslim.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of Islamic dietary laws (Halaal) and understanding of what is considered Harams (e.g., pork, alcohol, improper slaughtering).
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, honesty, reliability, and the ability to confidently enforce compliance with kitchen staff.
- Education/Experience: Matric (grade 12). While this is an entry-level position, previous experience in food service, hygiene, or a similar role is advantageous.
