Description:
This role involves:
Consolidation of budgets and preparing monthly management accounts
Obtaining monthly reports and consolidating the monthly result
Reviewing reports and querying any discrepancies
Preparing trial balances for financial reporting
Calculating and preparing detailed segmental report
Preparing financial statements
Reconciling the treasury shares
Compiling annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Liaising with auditors and relevant directors
Approving and reviewing ad-hoc payments
Skills & Experience:
Experience in a group reporting environment and preparation of financial statements (advantageous)
Strong communication skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Qualification:
BCom Accounting (or similar)
SAICA articles (non-negotiable) OR new qualified CA(SA)
