We are looking for a Senior Cutter who moves with speed, thinks with logic, and treats every hide and bolt of fabric like a work of art. What You’ll Do
Precision Cutting: Execute complex cuts on high-grade leathers and various fabrics (woven, synthetic, and technical textiles).
Yield Optimization: Demonstrate expert-level knowledge in hide grading—navigating scars and stretch marks to ensure maximum yield with minimal waste.
Pattern Mastery: Interpret intricate technical drawings and patterns, ensuring every piece meets exact specifications.
Quality Guardianship: Perform rigorous quality checks on raw materials before and after cutting.
Workflow Leadership: Work closely with the design and sewing teams to ensure a seamless transition from raw material to finished product. What We’re Looking For
Note: This is a senior-level role. We are exclusively seeking candidates who possess a dual mastery of both leather and fabric.
Experience: A minimum of 5 to 10 years in a professional factory or high-end workshop environment.
Material Expertise: Deep understanding of leather grains, temper, and thicknesses, alongside fabric grain lines and nap directions.
Tool Proficiency: Expert handling of manual cutting tools (knives, shears, rotary cutters) Added Preference:
Tool Proficiency: Expert familiarity with industrial cutting machinery (clicker presses, embossing machine or laser cutters is a plus).
