Job PurposeOur client, a well-established company in the manufacturing / commercial sector, is seeking an experienced Payroll professional to manage a large, high-volume payroll. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for payroll operations, statutory compliance, and reporting, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Full payroll function for 500+ employees End-to-end payroll processing on Sage 300 Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including MIBCO, PAYE, UIF, SDL, and other relevant legislation Manage payroll reconciliations, audits, and reporting Liaise with HR, finance, and external stakeholders Maintain accurate employee payroll records and documentation Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and deadlines Minimum Requirements
1015 years payroll experience, preferably within the manufacturing or commercial industry Proven experience managing a large payroll (500+ employees) Hands-on experience with Sage 300 (essential) Solid working knowledge of MIBCO and related industry regulations Strong understanding of South African payroll legislation Stable employment history preference will be given to candidates with long-term tenure in previous roles High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
