Web Telecom Services is looking for a friendly and helpful junior support agent to assist our prepaid fibre internet customers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, explaining things clearly, and solving basic internet problems.
English and at least one local South African language are required.
Preference will be given to those who speak Xhosa, Zulu, or Sotho.
What you will do

Help customers recharge their prepaid fibre

Answer customer questions about their internet service

Help troubleshoot basic internet problems

Log support tickets with fibre network providers

Support customers via: Phone calls, Email, WhatsAppContract details

3-month contract position

Matric certificate

Able to speak English and at least one local South African language

Friendly and patient personality

Comfortable using a computer and the internet

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Able to explain things clearly and politely

Confident speaking to customers on the phone

Able to write clear messages on email and WhatsApp

Able to think logically and follow processes
Working conditions-
50% in office position

Preference given to applicants who live in fibre coverage areas

Working hours are shift-based and partly flexible, but does require working weekends when allocated.

Web Telecom Service are looking for a bilingual (English and preferably Xhosa) junior ISP support agent, who is passionate about helping customers and providing customer support. The agent will be responsible for providing support to pre-paid fibre customers by helping them with recharges, resolving and troubleshooting issues and logging support tickets with the supplier. This will be a initial contract position for 3 months, which may be changed to a permanent position if the project continues, if the agent's performance is satisfactory.
Key requirements: Matric Friendly personality; Skilled with Excel and Microsoft Office; Computer and internet literate; Logical thinker; Well-spoken and confident; Provide telephonic support; Provide written support via email and whatsapp
The position will be a fully remote position, and preference will be given to those in fibre coverage areas.
Working hours will be partly flexible / shift related, with working 2 Saturdays a month.
Salary will be market related, dependant on experience.
