Description:
Minimum Requirements:National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).â?? 12 years experience in loading, dispatch, warehouse or cold store operations, preferably in meat, food or FMCG. Previous experience in a team leader or senior loader role will be an advantage. Basic computer literacy (ability to work with picking lists, invoices and simple spreadsheets).â?? Experience working in a cold chain / refrigerated environment will be an advantage.â?? Valid drivers licence and reliable transport.â?? Physically fit and able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as operationally required.
Skills and competencies
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in picking, checking and loading. Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to give clear instructions and work well with loaders, drivers and internal departments. Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.â??â?? Strong sense of responsibility for safety, hygiene and quality standards in the loading and dispatch areas.â??â??
