About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business operations, systems, and data. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making, optimising business processes, and delivering strategic insights across a complex operational environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, leveraging advanced analytics, data visualisation, and business process expertise to drive efficiency, performance, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to define, prioritise, and translate business requirements into actionable, data-driven solutions

Act as a bridge between business operations and systems, enabling improved decision-making and streamlined processes

Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics models to forecast demand, optimise inventory, and improve inbound and outbound logistics planning
-
Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using Power BI and other analytics tools, providing real-time visibility into KPIs, trends, anomalies, and behaviours
-
Incorporate client business intelligence and recommend areas for operational improvement
-
Create intuitive, user-friendly dashboards aligned to business KPIs, enabling self-service analytics for non-technical users

Map and optimise complex business processes using clear, integrated process flow diagrams
-
Present insights, recommendations, and feedback in strategic and operational workshops
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree (Honours preferred) or Master’s degree in an analytical discipline such as Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field

Business Analysis certification (e.g. CBAP) is advantageous
Experience Required

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in business analysis, data analytics, data science, business intelligence, or business process reengineering

Strong experience working with large datasets from multiple sources , including querying databases for analysis and reporting
-
Proven experience designing dashboards, visualisations, and reports to support data-driven decision-making
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric , including data integration, analytics, and governance
-
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience working across cross-functional teams
-
Demonstrated ability to map, link, and optimise complex business landscapes
Technical Skills

Data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and multi-source data integration

Advanced SQL skills (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL)

Microsoft Fabric Suite, including advanced Power BI, DAX, Power Query, custom visuals, and automated reporting

Python proficiency for data manipulation, analytics, automation, and machine learning (R advantageous)

Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, PivotTables, and VBA
