JUNIOR PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR Cape Town (Kraaifontein): My client, well-established company specialising in premium consumer goods is seeking a Junior Payroll Administrator to join their HR Team. Purpose of the Role: To provide administrative and operational support to the HR department by assisting with day-to-day HR processes, employee records, and compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To
  • Assisting with the administration of employee records including new appointments, terminations, and contract updates
  • Supporting onboarding and induction processes for new employees
  • Maintaining accurate HR files and documentation
  • Assisting with leave administration and updating HR systems
  • Supporting payroll by preparing and submitting accurate HR data and changes
  • Assisting with recruitment administration including interview scheduling and candidate communication
  • Supporting disciplinary, grievance, and performance management administration
  • Preparing HR reports and maintaining HR trackers
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and basic labour legislation requirements
  • Responding to routine HR queries and escalating where required
  • Providing general HR administrative support and ad hoc tasks
Criteria
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented work ethic
  • Experience within FMCG or manufacturing environment advantageous
  • Proficient in English and Afrikaans
Candidates who currently reside in close proximity to the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town or Stellenbosch will be considered for this position
