Minimum Requirements
- Must have a full knowledge of Sectional Title laws / Homeowners Association & Property laws
- Matric / Grade 12
- National Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Building/Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration
- 8+ years’ estate management experience within a hotel or mixed-use property with permanent residents
- Solid understanding of maintenance and structural issue diagnosis and resolution
- Proven experience managing budgets and financial controls
- Working knowledge of sectional title and property legislation
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficient in MS Office with good administrative discipline
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily estate operations, including maintenance, security, landscaping, and cleaning
- Manage and supervise staff to ensure consistent service delivery
- Identify and resolve maintenance and structural issues efficiently
- Prepare and manage budgets, reports, and preventative maintenance plans
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and property legislation
- Maintain accurate operational and administrative records
- Enforce estate rules and presentation standards
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and stakeholders
- Provide after-hours support when required
Personal Attributes
- Calm and diplomatic when managing diverse stakeholder needs.
- Hands-on and proactive with excellent attention to detail.
- Organised and methodical in planning and execution.
- Professional and consistent in communication and decision-making.
- Must be in good health and physically fit to do daily walk-abouts.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (with flexibility for after-hours emergencies).
- A full onboarding and support process will be provided during the first month, followed by a three-month probation period.
