A large multi-site group is seeking an experienced Senior Network & Systems Administrator to manage, secure and optimise enterprise network and server environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, Wi-Fi and Internet connectivity across multiple sites Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure Server administration: Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, file/share permissions Microsoft 365 & Azure AD (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) Network security, backups, disaster recovery & business continuity Monitor performance, troubleshoot escalated issues, manage emergencies Support hybrid cloud/on-prem environments Maintain documentation, firmware updates, patching and backups Mentor junior IT staff and liaise with vendors/service providersMinimum Requirements
Matric 5+ years’ experience in IT Administration / Network Engineering Strong hands-on experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols Windows Server & Windows 10/11 environments VPNs (site-to-site & client), Mikrotik RouterOS, firewalls Microsoft Active Directory & Office 365 Certifications: A+ / N+, MCITP, Network Security+ Diploma in IT Systems Administration (NQF 4/5) advantageousKey Competencies
Advanced server & network knowledge Strong problem-solving and communication skills High attention to detail, organised and dependable Ability to work under pressure and multitask Ownership mindset, proactive and service-driven Team player with a growth mentalityRemuneration Package:
Basic salary of R30 000 – R50 000 depending on experience
