Position: Diesel Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks, trailers and related equipment. The ideal candidate will be confident in using basic electrical and diagnostic tools to ensure our fleet operates at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate service records and report on completed work.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, specifically with Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks.
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems and components.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and basic electrical tools.
- Relevant trade qualification or certification (Although not Compulsory)
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license (Code EC preferred).
