Job PurposeTo manage a team of sales representatives that service independent and corporate pharmacies (Dis-Chem, Clicks and Medi-Rite) to call on and promote company OTC business unit products.
Achieving sales and market share targets executing on operational expectations of AI OTC.

Prioritise effectively and in accordance with independent and corporate objectives
Competitive market share evolution
Expenses in Line with Budget/ revised forecast.
Customer Relationships
Customer targets in all key areas will be achieved
Building sustainable Customer loyalty.
Analysis and Reports
Accurate forecasting & sales tracking
Monitor and analyse market share trajectory
Preparation and presentation of field sales reports presented timeously
Ability to develop tactical plans from available data.

Requirements
Regional Sales Manager experience will be advantageous
A tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing and/or a medical discipline will be advantageous
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in independent and corporate pharmacy
Thorough knowledge of the OTC business (Schedule 0–2)
Firm understanding of the Marketing Code of Conduct
Proven sales record
Thorough knowledge of the South African pharmaceutical Industry
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Business Savvy.
