Requirements
The successful candidate must have Matriculate qualification
3-5 years’ experience in a Supervisory / Managerial role and knowledge in the courier/ freight industry.
A Relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.
Good, interpersonal, leadership, motivation planning, and communicating (verbal & written) skills as well as bilingualism will be essential.
High level of computer knowledge and handheld device intuition.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Management of the vehicles and staff under your control and the meeting of delivery objectives.
Maximum Utilisation of Vehicles, planning of loads, routes, fuel, services etc
• Service Level Agreements are met between company and its customers.
• Vehicles and staff comply with all statutory and legal requirements.
• Accident / Incident investigation and submission of all documentation.
• Ensuring that all equipment is serviced within the allowed service intervals and planned COF’s updated.
• Maintaining of a high level of discipline, within the operations.
• Ensuring staff under your control maintain high level of service to customers.
• Management of staff and disciplinary procedures within the rules and boundaries of the LRA and the company policies.
• Administrative duties and Document control. Solving of queries and problem solving
• Management and analysis of vehicle tracking reports.
• Deadline Driven
• Submission of Monthly Management reports
• Must be willing to work Long hours and on Weekend if and when required.
