Description:
A well-established organisation within the manufacturing sector is seeking a Newly Qualified CA(SA) to join their finance team as an Accountant. This role offers broad exposure across the full financial function, with a strong focus on cost and management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax.Youll work closely with operational and production teams, gaining hands-on experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment while contributing meaningful financial insights that support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full financial function (FFF) including GL, reconciliations, trial balance, and reporting
- Cost and management accounting with operational exposure
- Preparation of management reports and financial analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting processes
- Tax compliance and related calculations
- Supporting month-end and year-end close
- Working closely with manufacturing and operational teams to drive financial performance
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Qualification: NQ CA(SA)
- Industry: Manufacturing experience beneficial but open
- Technical: Strong cost accounting, management accounting, and reporting exposure
- Profile: Analytical, hands-on, resilient, and comfortable in an operational environment
