Job & Company Description:A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled Accountant with strong reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax experience to join their finance team based in Pretoria North.
This permanent role is ideal for a technically strong individual with a solid understanding of costing and management reporting within a production or manufacturing environment. You will take ownership of financial analysis, management reporting, cost control, budgeting, and forecastingsupporting operational performance and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyse financial reports, management accounts, budgets, and forecasts Perform cost and management accounting functions, including product costing and variance analysis Support operational teams with financial insights to improve performance and cost efficiency Oversee tax compliance and assist with tax-related submissions and planning Strengthening internal controls and ensuring adherence to company policies and financial frameworks Contribute to month-end and year-end processes with accuracy and efficiency
Job Experience and Skills Required:
BCom with completed articles 5 years post-articles experience (preferably in manufacturing) Strong cost and management accounting experience Proven skills in reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax Experience within the manufacturing industry is essential
