Key ResponsibilitiesManage the daily operations of the pre-owned vehicle sales department Lead, motivate, and develop the pre-owned sales team to achieve targets Drive vehicle sales volumes, gross profit, and finance penetration Ensure optimal stock levels, stock turn, and vehicle pricing competitiveness Source quality pre-owned stock through trade-ins, auctions, and suppliers Monitor and manage ageing stock and implement corrective strategies Work closely with F&I, workshop, and marketing teams to maximise profitability Ensure adherence to dealership policies, processes, and compliance standards Analyse sales reports, trends, and performance metrics Handle escalated customer issues and maintain high CSI scores Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) Minimum 35 years experience in a pre-owned vehicle sales management role Proven track record in achieving sales and gross profit targets Strong understanding of vehicle pricing, stock management, and trade-in evaluations Experience within a franchised dealership environment (preferred) Valid drivers licence Skills and Competencies
Strong leadership and people management skills Commercially astute with strong negotiation ability Results-driven and highly organised Excellent communication and customer engagement skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Strong analytical and reporting capability Remuneration
