Description:
Your duties could include, but are not limited to:
Prepare consolidated group financial statements, including monthly income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Oversee the full external audit process across multiple entities
Manage group budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business strategy
Perform and review complex tax calculations and ensure timely submission of all tax-related obligations
Monitor and manage deferred income and related accounting treatments
Ensure full compliance with IFRS and implement new standards as required
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements
Provide technical accounting guidance across the group and serve as the IFRS subject matter expert
Lead, manage, and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and accountability
Take a hands-on approach to problem-solving, financial operations, and process improvements
Engage directly with senior stakeholders, providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making
Skills & Experience:
CA(SA) Non-Negotiable
Minimum 8+ years of post-articles experience
Exposure to a large group structure, preferably in Fintech, Real Estate or retail industry
Extensive financial reporting experience
Extensive Audit experience
Leadership/management experience
Strong taxation knowledge, specifically with taxation calculations
Budget and Forecasting experience with multiple large-scale business entities
