Description:
Key responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment administration.
- Maintain employee files and HR databases, capturing employee details, working schedules and leave on the relevant systems.â??
- Provide administrative support for benefits processes (IOD, UIF, provident fund and funeral benefits), ensuring that documentation is complete and submitted on time.â??
- Prepare routine HR reports for the HR Officer, including employee lists, attendance registers, training registers and basic disciplinary records
- Assist the HR Officer with organising HRâ??related training, Employment Equity meetings and communication of company policies and procedures to employees.â??
- Support basic labourâ??relations administration, such as issuing notices, filing disciplinary documentation and compiling packs internal hearings as directed by the HR Officer.â??
- Strong computer literacy with good dataâ??capturing accuracy.â??
Competencies and skills
- Strong administrative skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.â??
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; additional local language skills will be beneficial.â??
- Organised, responsible and confidential, with a willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of the HR Officer
