Description:
Blue Chip Company requires an Import/Logistics Administrator to join their fast pace Team and reporting into the Procurement Manager. Responsibilities include coordinating and managing the end-to-end Import process of Technical products ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation, Customs compliance and effective communication with Suppliers, Clearing Agents, Couriers and Internal Stakeholders. Duties include:-
- Manage the full Import process
- Liaise wit international Suppliers
- Coordinate with Clearing and Forwarding Agents
- Negotiate Shipping Rates
- Track Shipments
- Manage final Delivery to Customer
- Prepare all Import Documentation
- Ensure compliance with Customs regulations, Import Permits, HS Codes and Duties
- Maintain accurate records For Audit and reporting purposes Capture and maintain accurate Shipment and Inventory Data
- Ensure correct GRV processing upon receipt of goods
- Reconciliations
- Assist with resolving discrepancies
- Work closely with all Teams to ensure alignment
- Build strong relationships with Buyers, Freight Forwarders and Service Provider’s
- Report immediately on Risks, Non-Compliance or irregularities
- Grade 12
- Ow Vehicle
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Import/export or related field advantageous
- 2 to 4 Years’ experience in Import Logistics administration
- Solid understanding of Import procedures, Customs Clearance and Freight Forwarding
- Computer Literacy including MS Excel and ERP systems
- Own vehicle
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
