Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesInvoicing
Send daily invoices and job cards to customers Generate monthly rental invoices and customer statements Follow up on chargeable items (parts and job cards) Queries
Handle debtor and creditor queries Manage internal financial queries Payments & Banking
Capture payments accurately and timeously Prepare daily and month-end payment lists Maintain and update bank beneficiaries Import bank statements daily Allocate receipts and payments daily Handle daily bank-related queries Request bank codes and reports when required VAT & Compliance
Draft VAT reports timeously Collect, verify, and follow up on outstanding supplier invoices File all invoices and supporting documentation Bookkeeping & Reporting
Capture irregular supplier invoices Assist the Supervisor with overdue debtors Submit monthly financial reports Assist the bookkeeper during audits Credit & Administration
Complete credit applications for approval Perform credit checks Follow up with creditors and update internal teams File approved and declined credit applications Travel & Other Tasks
Manage travel allowances and accommodation arrangements Assist with ordering fleet cards Assist with inventory spot checks Provide general finance and administrative support as required
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping (preferred) Minimum of 23 years experience in a similar financial administration role Experience within the mining, construction, or industrial sector will be advantageous Strong understanding of invoicing, payments, VAT, and basic bookkeeping Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Strong communication and problem-solving skills Bottom of Form
