Description:

1. Leadership & Management of Security and APU Teams
2. Manage, lead, and coordinate all security personnel and the Anti-Poaching Unit (APU).
3. Ensure 24/7 coverage of all designated zones within the reserve, including shift planning, patrol deployment, and emergency standby rotations.
4. Train and mentor team members to uphold discipline, operational efficiency, and ethical standards.
5. Maintain readiness and morale of all teams in line with conservation and security goals.
6. Access Control & Gate Operations
7. Oversee and enforce all access control protocols at reserve gates.
8. Ensure accurate logging of vehicle and personnel entry and exit.
9. Implement and audit visitor and contractor clearance procedures.
10. Prevent unauthorized access and manage high-risk entry scenarios.
11. Wildlife Protection & Anti-Poaching Operations
12. Direct and supervise all anti-poaching efforts to safeguard wildlife and prevent illegal activity.
13. Conduct risk assessments, deploy patrol strategies, and react to threats in real time.
14. Work closely with law enforcement and conservation bodies to share intelligence and support prosecution when needed.
15. Maintain daily records and incident reports for wildlife interactions, incursions, or suspicious activities.
16. Client, Owner, and Guest Relations
17. Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with the reserves primary client, private owners, and visiting guests.
18. Ensure guest and owner safety through visible presence, quick response to security queries, and discreet vigilance.
19. Provide professional support during incidents or emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to the guest experience.
20. Property, Equipment, and Asset Protection
21. Safeguard all buildings, fences, roads, and physical assets of the reserve.
22. Monitor and prevent incidents of theft, vandalism, or damage to property.
