Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting:
Oversee the full financial function, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making Ensure accurate general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations Lead month-end and year-end closing processes Present financial reports and insights to senior management Compliance & Controls:
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements Implement and maintain robust internal controls Manage audits and liaise with external auditors Oversee tax compliance, VAT, and statutory submissions Operational Finance:
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control Monitor inventory costing, stock movement, and pricing structures Work closely with procurement and operations to manage cost efficiencies Oversee payroll processing and related reconciliations Leadership & Team Management:
Supervise and mentor finance staff Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes Support cross-departmental collaboration to enhance business performance
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or similar (Honors / CIMA / CA(SA) advantageous) Minimum 8-10 years experience in financial management Strong background in the automotive, spare parts, or manufacturing industry is highly beneficial Proficiency in accounting software Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on approach Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
