Full financial accounting & monthly reporting Managing and guiding direct reports Oversight of GL, reconciliations & financial controls Preparation of management accounts Assist with budgets, forecasts & variance analysis Statutory compliance, VAT & tax submissions Working closely with operations (engineering/mining exposure beneficial) Year-end processes & audit assistance
Job Experience and Skills Required
Strong financial reporting capability Education
BCom degree + SAIPA preferred Experience
3 years post-articles experience Experience managing staff
Skills / Technical Competencies
Strong financial accounting & monthly reporting GL management, reconciliations, VAT, tax & compliance Budgets, forecasts & variance analysis Fixed assets & year-end/audit support Advanced Excel + solid ERP experience Leadership ability with experience managing direct reports Detail-driven, organised, analytical & deadline-focused Confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills Engineering/mining exposure beneficial
