The Regional Sales Manager will support the Commercial Executive by managing and developing the regional sales team to achieve aggressive revenue growth, strengthen customer partnerships and deliver high-quality sales reporting. This role requires strategic leadership, strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of international freight forwarding.Responsibilities:
Build and manage a strong regional sales pipeline. Achieve and deliver aggressive regional sales targets. Acquire new business personally while guiding the team to do the same. Execute sales strategies driven by market intelligence and business insights. Recruit and onboard experienced sales talent. Maintain an effective headcount-to-target ratio. Ensure accurate regional pipeline reporting. Consolidate and submit monthly sales reports with quality control. Provide commercial input on tenders, proposals, and service offerings Coordinate DPW-related and trade lane-specific client visits. Requirements:
10+ yearsâ?? experience in International Freight Forwarding. Minimum 3â??5 years in a Sales Manager role (regional or national). Proven track record of achieving sales growth targets. Strong geographical and geopolitical understanding (air and ocean gateways, ports, markets). CargoWise knowledge beneficial. Matric. Bachelorâ??s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing or related field.
