Description:

Key responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the drawing office. Ensure all drawings are delivered on time and meet project specifications. Keep all project drawings and records accurate and up to date. Develop and produce HVAC design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, including ducting, piping, and electrical layouts. Create accurate manufacturing and installation drawings. Handle complete HVAC design processes, including:
Air distribution calculations Duct and pipe sizing/layouts Diffuser and grille sizing Equipment selection Heat load calculations Compile comprehensive HVAC design documentation for on-site use and monitoring. Conduct site surveys and measurements for design input and as-built records. Develop standard drawing notes and legends to ensure consistency across projects. Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives within the drawing office.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience using AutoCAD and Revit Matric / Grade 12 or technical equivalent Experience in building services Knowledge of building structures and site measuring (advantageous) HVAC industry experience (advantageous) Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering (advantageous) Valid Code 08 drivers licence Clear criminal and medical record, with ongoing compliance
