- Review and evaluate design documentation
- Prepare preliminary and detailed estimates
- Formulate bills of quantities and contract documentation
- Conduct financial evaluations of tenders
- Administer cash flow forecasts, cost reports, variation orders, valuations, and contractual claims
- Prepare and negotiate final accounts
- Attend project meetings and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams
- Analyse repair estimates and prepare viability studies
- Determine value at risk and damage costings
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):
- Education: BTech or BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Professional Registration: SACQSP
- Experience: Minimum 610 years (at least 3 years post-registration)
- Drivers License: Valid
- Strong knowledge of JBCC and NEC contracts
- Experience in professional consulting QS firms
- Bonus: Project/programme management experience
