Technical Sales Engineer

Description:

Youll be responsible for managing key accounts, identifying new opportunities, recommending product solutions, and supporting customers with technical insights across processing and packaging facilities.

Education:

• A relevant Mechanical/Electrical qualification or technical Certification (advantageous).
  Job Experience & Skills Required:
  
  • 35 years experience in technical sales, ideally within FMCG or Food & Beverage manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of conveyor systems, modular belts, mechanical components, or related industrial equipment.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical layouts or technical drawings and translate technical concepts into customer-friendly solutions.
• Proven track record in business development, customer retention, and territory management.

Ability to conduct site visits, assess customer needs, and provide tailored product recommendations. Excellent communication and client-facing abilities, with a consultative sales approach. Strong reporting, quotation preparation, and proposal development skills. Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
