To manage, perform, and continuously improve the daily and monthly investment administration processes, with a focus on unitization, operational controls, and financial reporting support.Minimum Requirements
A relevant qualification in Finance, Investments, or Accounting (BCom or equivalent preferred) 10 to 15 years of experience in an investment administration environment (asset management, multi-manager platforms, or LISP experience essential) Key Responsibilities
Provide operational support across technical IFRS reporting, investment operations, and system solutions Drive continuous improvement by reviewing and updating operational processes and documentation to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk Lead and support automation initiatives and process enhancements, collaborating closely with development teams where needed Conduct root cause analysis on issues affecting daily operations; identify long-term solutions to prevent recurrence Align investment operations with broader financial reporting requirements and objectives Coordinate daily investment administration processes including client cash flows, fund manager transactions, and life fund allocations Execute daily validation and integrity checks within the unitization system to ensure timely and accurate close-offs Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies to ensure proper allocation and disinvestment of client assets Process and validate large withdrawal transactions, including capital gains tax, income tax, and management fee accruals Monitor and resolve operational cash breaks Identify unusual or potentially suspicious activity in administrator transactions and escalate as required Ensure all banking-related functions are performed accurately and within required timeframes Maintain full accuracy and timeliness of Interlink unitization processing functions
