The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing reporting, managing a team, and driving financial accuracy across the business. This opportunity is ideal for a strong finance professional with post-articles experience and proven managerial exposure.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full financial accounting and reporting functions
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Lead and manage a finance team (direct reports)
- Perform balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure strong financial controls and compliance
- Support external audit processes
- Engage with operational and senior management
- Provide insights to support business decision-making
Qualifications & Experience:
- BCom Degree required
- SAIPA qualification preferred
- Minimum 3 years post-articles experience
- Experience in an engineering or mining environment beneficial
- Managerial experience essential
- Strong reporting experience required
- High attention to detail and strong technical ability
