Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and monthly management reports Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management Manage cost control initiatives and identify areas for efficiency improvements Accounting & Compliance
Supervise the accounting team and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations Ensure compliance with tax laws, audits, and statutory requirements Maintain strong internal controls and implement financial policies and procedures Strategic & Operational Support
Work closely with operations, sales, and procurement to support financial decision-making Provide financial input for pricing strategies, stock management, margin analysis, and supplier negotiations Support business expansion, financial planning, and risk management Lead financial planning for new projects, investments, and capital expenditure Leadership & Team Management
Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team Oversee staff performance, training, and development Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (SAIPA/SAICA/ACCA preferred) Minimum 810years experience in financial management Experience in the automotive, wholesale, or manufacturing sector is an advantage Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax legislation, and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across department
