Delivery Driver & Factory Assistant We are looking for a reliable, competent, and proactive Delivery Driver & Factory Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can think on their feet, and takes pride in maintaining high standards. The position involves a combination of delivery duties, production support, and basic operational tasks. ⸻ Key Responsibilities 1. Deliveries & Logistics • Safely transport stock and supplies between branches, clients, and suppliers. • Handle products according to cold-chain and quality requirements. • Maintain delivery schedules and communicate proactively about delays. • Conduct basic vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy. 2. Factory & Production Assistance • Assist with daily production tasks (mixing, portioning, packing, freezing). • Keep the production area clean, organised, and hygienic. • Load, unload, and organise raw materials and finished goods. • Operate equipment once properly trained. 3. Staff Coordination & Decision-Making • Support production staff with workflow, task allocation, and productivity. • Make sensible decisions to keep operations running smoothly. • Identify issues early and communicate with management. • Maintain company standards for safety, quality, and professionalism. 4. Basic Admin & Record-Keeping • Record daily production numbers, delivery logs, and stock movements. • Assist with checklists, paperwork, and basic digital communication. • Ensure accuracy when tracking inventory, labels, and delivery notes. ⸻ Requirements Essential • Valid South African Driver’s Licence (Code B or higher). • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy. • Good basic literacy and admin ability. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. • Able to follow instructions accurately and manage time well. • Strong communication skills.
