Prepare monthly management accounts with accurate commentary and variance analysis. Develop annual and quarterly financial budgets, forecasts, and long-term projections. Manage cash flow planning, monitoring, and reporting to ensure financial stability. Perform general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and asset management. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies. Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support business decisions. Collaborate with operational teams to track revenue, cost control, and profitability across outlets or business units. Assist with external audits, tax submissions, and statutory requirements. Identify process improvements and implement more efficient financial workflows.
ð??¹ Qualifications & Experience:
BCom in Accounting or equivalent (essential). 510 years experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, or restaurant industry. Strong experience in preparing budgets, management accounts, and cash flow reports. Proficient in accounting software (Sage and Pastel) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities. Highly detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven approach.
